Hello, I’m Will. As a professional film editor for over 20 years, I’ve worked on nearly every kind of commercial video project you can imagine — national ad campaigns, branded content, corporate films, you name it. But a couple of years ago, something shifted.

A family who had just lost their son reached out and asked if I could create a memorial video for his funeral. They shared a Google Drive folder packed with hundreds of images and video clips spanning his entire life — raw, personal, unfiltered. I spent hours on the phone with them, listening. Not just about him, but about them — their relationships, their memories, the things that hurt to talk about and the things that made them laugh through tears.

Some time later the same family asked me to do a tribute video celebrating the 90th birthday of the family’s Patriarch. We stepped through the same process together…
